Help us with Financial support
In Nepal, PHASE employs motivated qualified Nepali staff to deliver services and
training to the most difficult to reach poor communities in Nepal. Selection is purely
based on capability and motivation, which is demonstrated by the fact that - in contrast
to many small NGOs in Nepal, where nepotism is rife - our staff come from different
caste and ethnic groups from 10 different districts of Nepal! Furthermore, more than
95% are female, which not only gives motivated young women a chance of employment,
but also helps them to become role models for girls in the villages they serve.
The salaries for those highly motivated staff members, are tremendous value for money; £25 a month pays for a nursery school teacher, while £96 a month provides a highly qualified health worker!
So a relatively small donation can make a huge difference in Nepal.
If you would be interested in supporting PHASE in one of our projects, below you can see what your money can do; The costs are approximations since regional costs and exchange rates vary.
There are many similar projects which we facilitate and often it is possible for you to “adopt” a specific project – that is, raise funds for a particular project in a particular village, in which case we can keep you informed of the progress of the work.
There are many ways that you can help us to fund and deliver our projects. The links below will show you just some of these, please look at these and see if you would like to help us to continue our work which makes such a difference to people who really are, the poorest of the poor.
