Individual toilet construction programme; where villagers need to build a toilet for their house, PHASE will help them to purchase materials and show them how to build their toilet.

Scholarship support for a disadvantaged child for one year (providing stationary etc.); This support is targeted at  students who are in greatest need and who have the greatest potential to benefit.

Health and hygiene campaign; PHASE runs health and hygiene campaigns with the help of local youths and schools. This takes the form of; educational programmes, cleaning campaigns, debates in the school and programmes aimed at motivating school children.

Refresher training for one school teacher; onsite teacher training is provided to teachers from PHASE supported schools.

One months teacher support assistance in a primary school; Where the community requests this support, PHASE will meet up to 50% of the salary of a temporary teaching assistant.

Training for a health worker; this is provided by doctors attached to PHASE, the support include teaching materials and accommodation for the trainee health workers.

Dental training for one health worker; Essential dental training and refresher training to PHASE health workers and governmental supported health workers in PHASE project villages

One month’s funding for an Auxiliary Nurse Midwife to a sub-health post; PHASE funds an Auxiliary Nurse Midwife - which is a health worker with special focus on Safe Motherhood, to work at the sub-health post for 3 days of the week and to run an outreach clinic in a different part of the village on the remaining 3 days.

School toilet / water supply system refurbishment; PHASE provides advice and supports schools to refurbish or build these facilities by working with the community to see how much they can do themselves, and helping with parts that the community cannot manage.
