PHASE  Worldwide (Practical Help Achieving Self Empowerment) is a UK based organisation founded in 2005 by a group of friends who had a strong interest in and experience of working in Nepal.  PHASE Worldwide raises funds and provides technical expertise so that our autonomous partner PHASE Nepal can implement community based project in remote communities in Nepal.  

PHASE Nepal aims to help the most vulnerable in Nepali villages to work their way out of poverty, assisting communities and local authorities to lay the groundwork for a self-sufficient future.  

Since 2005 PHASE has grown very quickly, exceeding anticipated outcomes, initiating a proliferation of successful and sustainable projects and generated a huge number of success stories.

PHASE Nepal has 20 full time employees including an experienced and dedicated director, and a hardworking and brave team of young, female field staff who are an inspiration to us all. The UK team  consists of a committed group of volunteers and an experienced board of trustees. This means  minimal costs, with the majority of funds raised going directly to the programmes in Nepal.  Volunteers play a large part in our success and are  instrumental in keeping our costs down.
